I lived in Cape Town for a year with my husband and child. Before leaving this beautiful city in South Africa, we travelled for two weeks in the stunning province of Kwazulu-Natal. We had planned to come back to Johannesburg for our international flight, but curiosity got the better of us and we decided to end our trip with a one-day visit to a small, landlocked country in Southern Africa still unknown by many travellers: Swaziland.

When I arrived in Swaziland, I was immediately seduced by the thousands of surrounding green hills and all the beautiful scenic roads. It’s a place where nature is preserved, local people are warm and the arts are of enormous quality and importance. Needless to say, I loved it!

And of course, Swaziland is the land of the light, with amazing sunsets that I had the fortune to witness while driving along one of those scenic roads to the lodge where I spent my only night there. I only hope that one day I return.
