TOP 5 THINGS TO DO AT WE ARE AFRICA 2018

We hope you’re all having an awesome week at We Are Africa 2018! To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the cultural highlights and bold brand activation, here’s our top five things to tick off before you leave.

1. TALK THE TALK

Get yourself up to Blue Safari’s incredible activation space for their intimate and immersive ‘Talk the Talk’ programme. With amazing speakers and visuals this is an event not to be missed, and you can even drop in your business card for the chance to win an incredible weeklong trip for two to the Seychelles!

2. SOOTHE YOUR SOUL

Take some time away from the hustle and bustle of the show floor with a soothing hand massage at Great Plains Conservation’s relaxing retreat, The Haven. Perfect for putting some pep back in your step for the rest of the show! While you’re there, don’t forget to get a picture in the Rhinos Without Borders photobooth – and share on social media to pledge your support for this worthy cause.

3. REFRESH AND RE-ENERGISE

Day or night, we’ve got you covered: grab a morning pick-me-up from Bean There Coffee and detox with a juice at Escape+Explore before moving on to tipples from Under the Influence (if you fancy a cheeky glass of wine) and Striped Horse (for delicious craft beer). Don’t forget to unwind in style at The Relais & Châteaux bar, who have wine and canapés served up by chefs from their properties, showcasing a serious selection of flavour.

4. COMPLETE YOUR LOOK

Searching for inspiration for this year’s Fun, Fierce and Fantastical dress code? Then pop in to our pop-up shop, VIBE, and discover an amazing array of African clothing, bags and jewellery to give your outfit the edge. It’s all about expressing yourself: have fun and don’t be shy!

5. SIGN OFF IN STYLE

Roll up, roll up, and run away to the circus for a night to remember – the We Are Africa Closing Party. To round off an unforgettable week we’ll be going out with a suitably large bang and some truly incredible tunes courtesy of African pop sensation TRESOR, described as “one of the greatest voices of his generation”. So leave your heels at home and dress to express yourself: be fantastical, take risks, and have fun!
